Beauty Favourites of 2013

Starting off with shower/body products. These are a relatively new favourite but I am in love! My Mom got a big Soap and Glory set for Christmas and has been kind enough to let me use the products too. The Righteous Butter is the best smelling body butter in the world, myself and my sister both pretended to eat some the first time we smelled it, it's actually delicious, as is the Sugar Crush body wash. My Mom had a small version of this hand cream before and I stole some then too, it's lovely and also smells great.

I had never used VO5 until this year and I'm hooked. The conditioner is especially fantastic and no matter how dry my hair feels before washing it it always feels lovely and smooth afterwards, it's as good as a conditioning treatment.

Moving onto skincare. This is my third Christmas getting the Liz Earle Cleanse and Polish and I swear by it. I got a 200ml tube last Christmas and I still have some left, it lasts so long and is definitely worth the price (the 200ml starter kit costs €31.25). I also love the cloths that come with it, they are great for exfoliating so you don't have to buy a separate exfoliater. This moisturiser is another find by my mother. It's all natural and made in Kerry and it's AMAZING!!! I use the Borage and Comfrey Cream moisturiser and the company is Harebell Herbs. When I went to buy it the woman at the counter recommended I use a drop of Vitamin E oil with it and it was the best recommendation I ever got, the stuff is a miracle cream! It's changed my skin so dramatically over the past few months, I recommend only using it every other day though.

For hair I can't live without dry shampoo. My favourite is actually the VO5 volumizing one but I don't have any at the moment. I've just recently discovered this L'Oréal volumizing spray and it is such a good product, it makes my hair look backcombed and holds really well. I've been using Argan oil as my hair can get a bit dry from bleaching it, this one from Penney's does the job. Another L'Oréal product I've been loving this year is their Matt and Messy spray, it's great for spraying into curled hair to give it a nice tossled look.

For foundation I've been using 17's Stay Time 25 hour foundation in porcelain. It's the first "drugstore" foundation I've found that is actually pale but doesn't wash me out. It's quite a full coverage which I like during the winter, it may get a bit too thick for the summer though. Next is the Collection 2000 concealer that every beauty blogger has been raving about, it is great though, and super cheap. My Real Techniques buffing brush is the best brush in the world and if you don't own it go buy it, that's all I have to say. For powdery things I've been using the 17 Glow bronzer which is matte and great for contouring, MUA's Undress Your Skin highlighter which is just gorgeous and pearly and it's only about €4 and Rimmel's Stay Matte powder which is just a staple, best powder in the world.

Onto eyes and of course I've been loving the Naked palettes. Naked 1 is my Mom's which I had basically stolen until I found this MUA palette which is literally an exact dupe and it's only €5, it's called Undressed (they really tried to hide the fact that they copied it).

For Mascara I've been using 17's Va Va Voom in Blackest Black. The brush is really big which I love in a mascara. I couldn't live without my Maybelline gel liner which I use basically every day, I use it with the Cala angled brush and I don't have a clue where I got it. To fill in my non-existent blonde eyebrows I use the Catrice eyebrow set which comes with a light and dark shade.

Almost finished! I'm almost out of my Chloe by Chloe perfume which makes me super sad so I'm saving it for special occasions. I love this deodorant, it smells as good as a perfume and I can actually get the smell of it during the day which is nice. This size is great for handbags too.

Last but not least we have nail varnish! I don't usually buy anything but Barry M, they have lovely colours and I just like everything about them. Their Gelly collection is really nice and I want to own all of them. I also like this Matte top coat from H&M, it doesn't last as long as your nail varnish, it seems to wash off after a while, but it's nice while it lasts.

So that's all my favourite products for 2013. I hope you enjoyed and let me know what things you've been loving :)
